La magia del vidrio de mar
Cada pieza de vidrio de mar guarda una historia que comenzó mucho antes de llegar a mis manos. Nació como un simple fragmento de vidrio perdido en el océano —restos de botellas, frascos o antiguos objetos que, por descuido o por el paso del tiempo, terminaron en el mar.
Con los años, la fuerza de las olas, la sal y la arena transformaron esos fragmentos en pequeñas joyas naturales: suaves, mateadas y llenas de encanto.
El vidrio de mar es un testigo silencioso de vidas pasadas: puede haber viajado por costas lejanas, haber sido acariciado por cientos de mareas y haber brillado bajo soles que ya nadie recuerda.
Cada color tiene su misterio —los verdes, blancos y marrones son los más comunes, compañeros inseparables del tiempo, seguidos de los azules y turquesas, menos comunes, y los rojos son verdaderos tesoros que se esconden entre el oleaje la arena y el viento, todos ellos formaron parte de antiguos y olvidados objetos de cristal que algún día pertenecieron a alguien.
Mis cuadros no son solo piezas decorativas; son fragmentos de historia, de momentos y de vidas ya olvidadas. Cada obra es una invitación a contemplar la poesía de lo simple, a valorar la transformación y a recordar que también nosotros podemos convertir lo negativo en algo hermoso cuando actuamos con amor y respeto por nuestro entorno.
The magic of sea glass
Pasión por lo natural
Each piece of sea glass holds a story that began long before it reached my hands. It was born as a simple fragment of glass lost in the ocean—remnants of bottles, jars, or old objects that, through carelessness or the passage of time, ended up in the sea.
Over the years, the force of the waves, the salt and the sand transformed those fragments into small natural jewels: smooth, matte and full of charm.
Sea glass is a silent witness to past lives: it may have traveled along distant shores, been caressed by hundreds of tides and shone under suns that no one remembers anymore.
Each color has its mystery—greens, whites, and browns are the most common, inseparable companions of time, followed by blues and turquoises, less common, and reds are true treasures hidden among the waves, sand, and wind; all of them were once part of ancient and forgotten glass objects that once belonged to someone.
My paintings are not just decorative pieces; they are fragments of history, of moments and lives now forgotten. Each work is an invitation to contemplate the poetry of simplicity, to value transformation, and to remember that we too can turn the negative into something beautiful when we act with love and respect for our surroundings.
